Mena Alexandra suvari born on February 13, 1979, in America is an actor, fashion designer and a model. After launching her career as an actress Mena Alexandra Suvari starred in guest roles for 1990s television shows Boy Meets World and High Incident. The film debut came in 1997's drama Nowhere. Then, in American Beauty and American Pie her name was recognized for her roles. The next time she appeared was in Loser (2000), with American Pie actor Jason Biggs. Later she played the title role in Sugar & Spice (2002). The year 2002 saw her starred in Spun the drama by an independent company and in 2004's thriller Trauma. The year 2004, she was a guest in HBO's series Six Feet Under. She was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Awards in for 2005 in the category of Outstanding Ensemble. In 2008 she was cast in a string of films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the film adaptation to The Garden of Eden. Suvari has appeared in many fashion blogs and magazines, including Vogue. She's also a Lancome model and appears on ads in print in Lancome Paris Adaptive. She has long been an activist and supporter to the African Medical and Research Foundation. She's an advocate for female empowerment, as well as a participant of a number of organizations fighting breast cancer or an End Violence Against Women movement.
